My children have gained confidence in them, which is a good self-esteem builder. They have also gained new friendships with great kids. Dancing has also really improved their coordination and balance. There are several reasons that I choose LHQ over the competition. The teachers at LHQ treat each child as an individual and enjoy working with everyone, the teachers hear are great dancers and wonderful at their craft. One very important thing to consider is that LHQ has the proper flooring to absorb the impact of jumping which is better for your joints. LHQ has a great variety of classes that fits everyone's interest. A fun professional place that teaches quality dance training.

I would like to add that I have a son with Autism that takes boys Hip-hop and acro. Last year my son was not on ADHD meds and the teacher was wonderful.  She helped bring him back with positive redirection.  This year he has improved so much. My kids love LHQ and all the staff.

After dancing for 15 years at LHQ I have taken away many useful skills I can use outside of the studio. Presently, as a college student, I am on the dance team at my school and dance continues to play an important role in my life. Growing up in a dance studio taught me all about teamwork. No matter what path you take in life there are going to be times when you have to work closely with your peers. I have learned to trust the people I am are working with and be respectful to them because you never know what they can teach you. In addition to teamwork, dance has shown me that you have to be persistent with what you want to achieve and be willing to put in time and effort. As I've always been told, practice makes perfect. Having this knowledge has helped me tremendously in college. Being persistent and having the drive to succeed is something that stems from my time spent in the dance studio. I know from experience that I can achieve the positive results I want if I work hard at it.

As a member of the competition team I had a large commitment to fulfill. Starting at a young age I learned how to manage this type of responsibility. I experienced first-hand how important it is to never quit something you start without finishing it through. This is one of the most useful tools I have taken away with me as I continue to take steps toward preparing myself for my future. Similarly, I have a lot of experience with time management after having to balance schoolwork and endless hours at the dance studio each week. As I get older I am continuously getting busier. This has helped me become more disciplined and organized so I can accomplish school, work, and other activities. Lastly and most importantly, dance has taught me to have confidence in myself. Performing in front of large crowds and pushing myself outside of my comfort zone has benefited me more than I ever thought it could. Whether I am interviewing, presenting, meeting with a professor or business professional, or just taking to a fellow student, I am able to show that I am confident in myself. This quality can only help me as I continue through life and I owe many thanks to dance for teaching me something as important as this.

Dancing with LHQ was not only a memorable time in my life, but also inspired many qualities that I still uphold to this day. After my first semester of college it was apparent that I had something that my other friends did not, I was driven and disciplined. While most freshman were only concerned with their social life, I was interested in more pressing matters such as grades, extra-curricular activities, etc. That being said, I of course enjoyed my time in college but I have always kept my schedule balanced with work and leisure time.

As a student I also participated in two dance groups run by students on campus. It was refreshing to be with students that shared common interests of mine, while still handling the course load and distractions of college. At school I expanded my knowledge of dance, trying ballroom for once and absolutely loving it! Coming into my senior year of college, I must say that the individuals I danced with and my instructors are still like a second family to me. I still keep in contact with everyone and always love coming to the recitals and seeing how much everyone has grown. Even though I will be pursuing a career working in a lab position after college, I know that I will continue to keep dance apart of my life.

I have been a student here at LHQ Danceforce for over fourteen years and competed with the LHQ dance team for six years . I have recently graduated from Westfield State University in May of 2013 with a bachelors degree in Movement Science. I currently work full time at a physical therapy clinic as a rehabilitation aide and part time at fitness club as a fitness instructor and personal trainer.

Dance has been my passion since the age of three. If dance was not part of my life, I don't think I would be the person who I am today. I have gained tremendous amount of confidence in myself here at LHQ. Before coming here to the studio I was a shy and quiet girl but that all changed. I made great friends here and was able to come out my shy shell. All the dance teachers here are amazingly talented and wonderful role models to all the children. Every single dancer who I have danced with also shared the same passion as I do, which made a great impact on our relationships with one another. I gained a special bond with everyone who made an enormous impact on my life.

As an older dancer in the studio I needed to step up and become a leader to each dancer. I feel that I had taught them to never give up and to keep positive attitude on the dance floor and off the dance floor. It is an amazing feeling to have that kind of responsibility being a role model to the students. I took the tools that I have gained here at LHQ and now using the skills more and more each day.

When the time came to deciding on a college career all my life my passion was the love of dance and being physically active, which helped me decide what to major in college. Having a healthy life style is very important to me. LHQ is a wonderful environment to grow up in as a dancer and as a person. Not only learning how to dance but you learn how to be a team player and respect for other dancers.

It’s hard to believe that Lynn could actually be celebrating 25 years because in my mind, you’re still only 25! Watching you grow your business and the impact you’ve made on the local community and to the lives of so many dancers over the years is nothing short of amazing. I’m so proud to think back to moving to a new town when I was 9 years old and instantly finding my place in the dance studio. That continued to grow through graduating high school and even coming back for a few years after college. I’ve always had a home with the LHQ family. I’m blown away by the level of dance ability I see in this generation of LHQ dancers; I wouldn’t have been able to keep up! This is another testament to your ability to bring the latest tools and techniques from the dance world, but always with your own unique spin on choreography. I would wish you luck for another 25 years, but I know that you’ll exceed any goal you put your mind to. Congratulations on this significant achievement!

My name is Hayley Burbank and my 16 years at LHQ have forever changed my life. I learned, matured, and flourished as a dancer and person in the studio. I danced along side my friends as well as family; all 4 of my younger sisters and brother also danced with LHQ over the years! I began at the age of 3 and continued until I graduated Agawam High School in 2014. I decided to challenge myself and joined the competition team when I was 12 which made me become even more passionate about dancing. Through my experience at LHQ, I also learned the importance of staying healthy and active. That stayed with me as I made important college decisions. I decided I wanted a career choice that allowed me to help others and instill health and wellness as well as focus on mind and body wellness. As my senior year of high school ended while at LHQ, I looked forward to attending Fitchburg State University, majoring in Exercise and Sports Science with a clinical track in Exercise Physiology. I just graduated magna cum laude in May of 2018 and now I am pursuing my dream of being a Doctor of Physical Therapy while focusing on preventative sports medicine. From my passion and love for dancing, I was able to make it this far to be where I am now. Thank you Miss Lynn and LHQ staff for doing all that you do for your students and constantly changing lives. I cannot express how appreciative and grateful I am to have grown up within the walls of LHQ. Lifelong friendships, memories, and knowledge were given to me from being an LHQ student. Congratulations on your 25th year Miss Lynn and here's to many more!
