Beth Gage

Beth Gage began her dance career at the Adams School of Dance in Rutland,Vermont under the primary instruction of Sherry Adams. While training at the Adams School of Dance, Beth had the opportunity to join the Vermont Chamber Ballet where she worked her way up from a company member to a principal dancer. She then continued her studies under the instruction of Maris Wolff at Johnson State College. While there, she was the president of the JSC Dance Ensemble and danced with the Vermont Dance Collective. She moved to Western Massachusetts after college and began her professional dance teaching career.

Brenda Hadden

Brenda has extensive dance training in all subjects of dance.  Her performances include: Disney’s Magic Music Days, Tribute to Broadway and Beyond, Sesame Street in Concert, Lenny Gomulka’s Christmas Show, The Rocky Horror Show, Rip the Mic, Burn the Floor, Choreography & performance in the show “Fabulous,” a fundraiser for the Breast Cancer Foundation and many other fundraising appearances. In September 2007, she choreographed and performed at The Big E fair, with Latin performer "Danna". Brenda also choreographed and performed for the Massachusetts Twisters Dance team, "Dance Destruction".  In May 2001, she graduated from Holyoke Community College, with an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. When not performing and teaching, Brenda is busy working with her home business in Health and Nutrition, check out her website at http://www.marketamerica.com/brendahadden.  In the summer months, Brenda has been a volunteer for ten years, at Camp Sunshine in Maine, working with terminally ill children and their families.

David Bovat

David has been teaching dance for more than 25 years.  He has taught at many dance studios and colleges.  Mr. David's choreography is in demand all throughout New England.  He has choreographed for plays, competitions, pageants, and college dance performances, just to name a few.  Mr. David specializes in teaching students of all ages and abilities in tap, jazz, lyrical, and acrobatics

Karen Harpin

Karen Harpin has been teaching dance locally for the past twenty years.  She has experience teaching all levels of dance ranging from pre-school to adult. A former competition dancer, she had studied dance at local studios throughout the Springfield area as well as New York City.  She has choreographed for local community theatre groups and has prepared students for talent show projects and pageants.  Karen resides in Feeding Hills with her husband and two children and is also the Vice President of the Rejean Remillard Insurance Agency.

Kara McCormick

Kara is the newest member of our LHQ Staff. She has been dancing for twelve years, and most of that time was spent at LHQ. She was a member of our competition team for five years and has studied the dance genres of Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Lyrical, and Hip Hop. Kara is currently enrolled as a freshman at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She is working towards a Masters of Science degree and working towards being involved in the dance department on campus as well.

Jennifer McCormick

Jennifer began dancing at the age of two-and-a-half in Massachusetts and continued through college.  She Participated in dance competitions from the age of five until seventeen, earning several national titles. Jennifer trained,apprenticed and performed with Gus Giordano and the Gus Giordano Jazz Company, as well as performing with Feel It Performing Arts Group.  Jennifer has also had the priveledge of training with Pamela Boiling, Dennis Caspary, Mia Michaels and at Broadway Dance Center and Millenium Dance Complex.  She opened Starstruck Studio located in Mechanicsburg, PA in 1998 where she was the Lead Choreographer/Instructor through 2003, and then left the business to support her husband's career and expand her family.  Since, Jennifer has been instructing at several different studios throughout New England, hosting seminars/master classes, and judging at northeast dance competitions.
