LHQ Danceforce Shined at Olympic Miss Dance Nationals, July 2010

LHQ Danceforce students recently competed at Olympic Miss Dance Nationals in Manchester, NH.  All the students did a great job, individually and as a dance team member.  The studio received some great awards; such as, having amazing confidence every time you were on stage, great performance and style, beautiful and clean pirouettes, nice stretched lines, fantastic and clean jazz technique, great energy and having great elements through out all the dances.  It is great to see all the students grow and become stronger dancers by the end of each season.  We are all so proud of you for working so hard, Miss Lynn, Miss Brenda, Mr David & Miss Beth.

All the soloists did a fabulous job and the following soloists received top overall scores: Kara McCormick, Sierra Jones, Molly Febo, Gianna Ricco, Miranda Harpin, Isabella Yacovone, Arianna Leon, Mary Root & Mikayla Rice.  Also, placing overall for Duo/Trio’s, was the routines Snakes & It Takes Two.

As group dancers, the students did equally as well.  Taking home Platinum Awards for all routines and the following groups who placed in the overall standings were as follows: Hard Knock Life, Funky Divas, Kiss, Gone, Close To the Edit, I Love Lucy and Renegade.  Our big group production “Celebration,” received 2nd place overall and the judges loved the Birthday Cake Prop!  

It is great to strive for a goal and have great success, but it doesn’t work without having a group work as a team to achieve the final goal.

TEAMWORK
We don't accomplish anything in this world alone ... and whatever happens is the result of the whole tapestry of one's life and all the weavings of individual threads from one to another that creates something.
