Competition Groups

This program is offered for the serious minded, enthusiastic and passionate dancer! Our Show Team members experience the ultimate rewards and thrilling sensations of the art of dance, competition and performance. Being a Show Team member builds confidence, self -esteem, time management and teamwork. Show Team helps you find the "passionate dancer inside" and lets you share the excitement for dance with a supportive and loving team.

The LHQ Dance Show Team is one unit and divided only by mini, junior, teen and senior on an average age per competition routine requested by the competition. Our Show Team is not labeled at the school except as one whole team.

THE BENEFITS OF A SHOW TEAM MEMBER INCLUDE:

Assigned placement to a large group in each style of dance in which you qualify. The opportunity to compete locally and out of town.

AUDITIONING

Auditions are open to anyone who is enrolled taking all ballet, tap and jazz.
Auditions are on an invite basis or requested audition
Those selected are required to take a certain amount of classes plus rehearsal.

COMPETITIONS, CONVENTIONS AND RECITALS

We will attend competitions and conventions (approximately February- May) with an option for a national competition in July. Members will also be featured in the annual show in May.

This is a wonderful experience for any dancer.
